The surrounding community lined Main Street in Lansdale and packed Memorial Park for a flower-laying ceremony and service Monday morning, presented by Lansdale VFW.
At 9 a.m., the parade kicked off with dignitaries, police and fire personnel, Boy Scouts, the North Penn Marching Band, veterans’ groups and more at Cannon Avenue and Main Street, ending at the park where officials and government figures honored the memory of Lansdale’s fallen sons.
